Spring Tonic Tea Party

Saturday, April 14 | 1:00 pm

Join us for an afternoon tasting spicebush tea, nettle tea, dandelion tea, and other teas made with maple sap and local plants! Then we’ll head out for a walk to learn more about the plants that we used. Registration required. All ages. FREE

Phood Phorest Volunteer Days welcome everyone to learn while they work and take home food, seeds, and plants. As our Phorest matures and our abundance grows, it will also be shared with our surrounding neighbors, and organizations that are fighting against neighborhood food apartheids. The Phood Phorest is part of Philadelphia Parks & Recreation, is in partnership with the Philadelphia Orchard Project (POP).
